For most people, confidence on stage is something practiced. For Kimberly Cano, it was something discovered — not in a classroom or seminar, but in the midst of rebuilding her life.
Before she was a life and health coach, bestselling author, and founder of Kawaiola Life Design LLC, Kimberly’s stage was a hotel conference room in Hawaii. Her audience wasn’t there for inspiration, but instruction.

“I used to conduct environmental education sessions for major corporations,” she remembers. “I taught people how to manage waste responsibly and create sustainable systems. It wasn’t motivational speaking — it was pure technical training.”
But even in those practical presentations, something clicked. She realized she could not only inform but also move people to act. “When someone connects with why something matters, they don’t just learn — they transform,” Kimberly says.

Where the Story Truly Begins
Her life took a dramatic turn when she entered Habilitat, Inc., a rehabilitation facility in Kaneohe, Hawaii. For three and a half years, Kimberly worked on healing the parts of herself she once kept hidden. During that time, she faced one of her deepest heartbreaks — watching her young son, adopted by professional surfer Clyde Aikau, pass by her window without recognizing his own mother.
“It was the most painful moment of my life,” she shares softly. “But it also became the moment that made me promise to never give up on myself again.”
Upon completing the program, she didn’t simply move forward — she went back. Kimberly began returning to the same facility as a public speaker, this time to offer hope to those still in recovery.
“My talks there weren’t perfect or polished,” she admits. “They were honest. I spoke from the heart about redemption, and somehow, people listened.”

Building from Purpose
Those raw beginnings shaped the foundation for her true calling. Today, Kimberly is preparing to take her message worldwide — with a new focus on resilience, authenticity, and the art of rebuilding after loss.
Her speaking engagements cover themes of entrepreneurship, emotional recovery, and what she calls “the age of authenticity — when the world finally celebrates realness over perfection.”
To perfect her craft, she’s undergoing professional speaker training and developing workshops that blend mindset, motivation, and practical business strategies.
But for Kimberly, the mission extends far beyond the stage. Through her nonprofit, The Aloha Jigsaw Foundation, she’s transforming her words into action — providing support to children and families affected by wildfires in Hawaii, Los Angeles, and Colorado.

From Hawaii to the World
“Hawaii will always be my heart,” she says. “That’s where I learned that sharing your story can save someone else’s life.”
Even as she now resides in Colorado, the lessons from her island home continue to guide her voice. Every keynote, every coaching session, every heartfelt conversation — it all circles back to one truth: healing multiplies when shared.
“You don’t have to be perfect to make a difference,” Kimberly says. “You just have to be brave enough to speak your truth.”
As she embarks on this next chapter, Kimberly Cano isn’t just stepping onto stages — she’s building bridges of hope across them.
